View Full Version : Concerning small stream etiquette...
I propose that we pave all roads in north Georgia, and for that matter, trails too. It's too darn hard to drive/walk around with all of the trees in the way. I just bought a new truck and would like to keep it clean, so get rid of dirt roads. Any area that is too rough to pave trails, we need ski lifts. I also propose that each north Georgia county puts in at least one super Wal Mart for every 1000 residents. No sense in backtracking to have to pick up supplies. Also, each mile marker should have a kiosk with north Georgia trout stream maps for free, noting best holes and runs and most popular flies. All parking lots for rivers and streams should have machetes in case you need to prune any annoying brush. These will be used on the honor system, so please return them. In order to keep the creeks clean, large bear proof dumpsters need to be installed every 100 yards along the streams. Am I missing anything or do these requests just plain make sense? If anyone should have further input, please add to this post.
Kindest regards,

I think that there should be someone should operate a coachman tram to transport anglers and gear to each spot. I need my energy to fish and would like to cut down on any additional walking (note I did not say hiking because that would infer exercise).

I believe Nugget stopped.
Can we do the same?
I think the game is over now. Tight lines.
Hold on just a minute.. There are some important questions scooby brings up. Currently there are no Ski Area's in Georgia.. Ga needs a ski area cause i'm tired of having to drive all the way to NC.. Nothing south of Dawsonville though ;)

I will make a ski run this winter!!!!! If I have to do it on one foot i'm hitting the slope this winter.. Gotta get back on the horse that threw me... I've cause alot of instant damage ( tree at Alta UT, ect), but never something this long lasting. I promise no Banzi runs for a while though...:D

Try the Forrest service roads in the Cohuttas (when it snows). Some dern good slow and easy runs. Hard to get there in the right conditions, but worth it when you hit it right. Red neck ski runs. TRW
