Well folks, we're finally moving Aug. 5 (Sunday) and 6th (Monday). We're leaving behind the old shop with lots of memories, funny smells, ugly carpet, bars on the windows, and...Gary. Well, we're leaving it all behind, even Gary if we can keep the new location secret.

You guys are going to love the new diggs. Brick walls, cool displays, more room, and additional parking. It's going to be located just off Boling and Peachtree (those of you who know, it's right where the Buckhead Saloon used to be). We'll have the same ole staff, even Rocky is trotting down the way.

Come see us and watch for updates for our big party in the new place.

Cya,
James

James - - Thanks for the move dates! Since I moved to NC about four years ago I don't come by the place very often, but I have two sisters-in-law who need the info so they know where to buy their annual gift certificates for me! That said, a lot of good memories for many of us in the old location as well, and even the location before the current one! The Fish Hawk represents everything a good shop should be with knowledgeable staff and quality equipment and services. I bought my first new rod (well the first new fly rod of my current fishing era) at the shop and I still remember being impressed that no one tried to push me into anything I didn't really need.

One last thing about quality I picked up from Henry Williamson: "If you walk into a fly shop and they don't have a coffee pot, turn around and walk right back out." He had a few other more colorful quotes that would be bleeped anyway so I won't bother with them here. And The Fish Hawk always has the coffee on .............

Best of luck in the new location and the move! See you this fall. ---JCK---

WE ARE IN!! This spaces is amazing! Come by and see. It's still a bit of a mess as we wade through boxes and piles of things. I'd like to take this chance to deeply thank those of you who came early Sunday morning to help us with the move. The whole staff is still overwhelmed with the turn out! Thanks guys. It's great when people want to enthusiastically "white wash someone elses fence". -Rob

Had to take them out. Dang guides were taking up residence there. Figured I must have made it too comfortable.

Hey, we're working on the sofa...and chairs. I'm calling shotgun on the fold out bed in the back.

We'll post some pics of the new shop soon. It looks AWESOME!!!!

The shop looks great, with the brick walls providing a character to this new place that may rival the old. I was a little concerned when I saw the interior decorator fussin with the hangin of the fish, but Rocky reassured me it was going to be okay after he finished with the final touches.

Rumor has it that Jesco (worldwide) has been booked for the Grand Opening!

The main thing is the people who make up the team at the Fish Hawk, that is, the guys who provide such great service and fun when you go in.

Congratulations Gary and friends for a great move to a new space.
