I heard that you built a skiff from Montana Boat builders. How is the boat on the water? Can you post pics or email them to me. I am thinking of building a skiff.

I'll shoot ya a PM. The shop is just up the road from Ball Ground. Come on by sometime and look at it.

Honestly, if I had to do it again, I don't think I'd do a skiff. Rowed a buddy's and it is a little tippy and not very good in heavier water. You've gotta be very careful when you line up on a run. If you screw up, there's precious little room for error with such a low side.

That said, the stitch and glue is fairly easy. Do the kit, as the plans are a b*tch to transfer.
