Just got back from two days of bonefishing at the Pelican Bay Resort on Grand Bahama Island. We had a great time. The area is a little slow right now but the weather held out for us on both days and the fishing was great. We had ten fish each day, ranging from 2 lbs. to several that were 5 to 7 lbs (largest was 7 lbs.) We even had a double the last day with one at 6 and one at 7 lbs. The guide even had to get into the mangroves and beat a small shark that was trying to get at one of our bones. Thats what I call a good guide. The guides were great and the whole trip went off without a hitch. I set the trip up through the Fish Hawk with James and Ronnie. I want to thank them especially Ronnie because those guys take care of everything. I have a lot of pictures but I can never seem to get them posted, they are to big I guess. Anyway it was a great trip and a top notch guide service.

Thanks Guys,
Brian:cheers:

you gotta post some pictures...you're killing us.

It really is pretty easy. Just get yourself a photobucket account (www.photobucket.com) and you are set.

Let's see em.

What did you think of the Pelican Bay resort? I have walked through the resort but have not stayed there. I stayed at the Westin across the street.

Where on GBI did you fish? How far was the drive and the boat ride?

Did fly selection matter?

Who was your guide?

Wade fishing?

Good looking fish.
