ok guys this is the first pattern ive ever made by myself. i used no fly tying tools whatsoever and jerry rigged a vice with forceps and an olp clamping tool my mom had. so i know it isn't the prettiest thing in the world but cut me some slack: i tied it by hand with sewing thread

im sure all you guys know how to tie a wooly booger so yeah thats the instructions. i didn't have head cement so i used a drop of super glue to finish the fly.

so yeah! that's the first fly i ever tied without all the doohickey's of fly tying im interested if this pattern catches fish so if any of you can tie up something similar to this and see if it works, send me a pm to let me know. when i get my fly tying kit for christmas, ill definitely be making more of these. they look like fish catchers to me:D

Hey you should have seen some of my first creations. I didn't have a vice so I used my hands to hold and tie the fly. I caught fish on them though.:D I will try to find one of them for pics. Keep on tyin' Landon, soon you will be doing this stuff in your sleep.
