again used just sewing thread with this but am really suprised with the turnout. im starting to get pretty good with my homemade vise and no bobbin:) so without further waiting: i give you the Golden "spunky" nymph

recipe:
thread: orange 8/0
hook: size 14 nymph hook: Mustad 9671 or similar
body:built up thread
tail: golden pheasant fibers
hackle: i got the bag mixed up but i think "yellow" saddle back(don't quote me on that:o )
instructions:
1. put bead on hook and then on vise.
2. use thread and secure a good sized thread base and bring to tail
3. cut pheasant fibers and tie off on hook
4. bring back wrap to top of heok towards beadhead
5. tie in hackle and wrap once then tie off.
6. tie towards the middle away from hackle and tail and use head cement to finish flie or however you finish it.

i have no idea how this pattern fishes as i just made it but it looks like a fish catcher to me!!!:D
