These type of soft hackles are fairly common i know but i figured id give a pretty basic recipe and instruction on how to tie one of my variants for a new fly tier (i know im new myself)

hook: size 12 standard nymph hook Mustad 3366
thread: olive 6/0
body: built up thread base
hackle: partridge hen
tail: grey goose biot
instructions
1. tie up a fairly good thread base to the bend of the hook
2. tie in section of goose biot. tie thread back to behind hook eye
3. tie in partridge and wraps so as to get a good section going around the hook eye. clip of res of stim
4.wip finish to finish fly
how to fish:
up under an indicator using drag free drift. also good as a dry dropper combo
