Gabriel's Trumpet (Gold)
Hook: #10-16 heavy wire scud
Bead: Gold
Weight: Lead-free wire .015
Thread: Gold or Yellow 70 Der.
Tails: 2 gold, amber or yellow goose biots
Rib: Fine copper wire
Abdomen: Gold Flashabou or Krystal Flash
Wingcase: Mottled brown turkey
Thorax: Tan Ostrich herl
Collar: Ginger or tan hen neck hackle. I used either mallard or partridge.

Abdomen: Flashabou or Krystal Flash colored with a black permanent magic marker. That's what I did.

Collar: Black hen hackle

Looks kinda like an Orvis Lightning bug with goose biots. I bet it's deadly on DH's everywhere.

I fish a tungsten rainbow warrior thats alot like this pattern.It is very deadly in the spring. Great pattern it will be going into my nymph boxes.
