Got some new fly tying material today for this fly which I have wanted to tie since first I layed eyes on one. This fly was actually banned on some waters because of it's effectiveness.

Hook: Wet fly hook #8
Thread: Black 6/0 or 8/0
Tail: Red ibis (substitute red turkey quill)
Body: Silver mylar

Ribbing: Fine oval silver tinsel
Hackle: Black hen
Wing: Peacock sword
Cheeks: Red ibis (substitute red turkey quill)

OOO perty, it looks like something cool. Supposedly the red makes the fish bite, it makes them mad or something.
