hook: size 18 tmc 2487 2x short
thread: utc 140 FL. Pink
body: built up thread (also have used blue ice dubbing.)
thorax: Peacock Herl
instructions:
1.put on bead and secure hook on vice
2. start thread behinkd bead and bring back to bend of hook
3. wrap thread back to bead and tie in peacock herl
4.tie off herl and clip excess
5. whip finish and add head cement
how to fish the fly:
im sure you guys have fished these types of flies but from the experience i had on sunday, i was having lfishing it along the edges of the fast water without an indicator. at the end of the drift raise the rod tip slowly and it looks like an emerger.
ive also tied this easy little pattern in white, olive and brown
