i found a similar soft hackle in a book and modified it a little bit. a pretty easy tie and what im going to be using for the nymph swap.

hook: sz 16 Daiichi 1560 1x long
thread: black 8/0 unithread
tail: black goose biot
body: peackock herl
hackle: partridge
instructions:
1. put hook on vice and tie in thread. bring to bend of hook
2. tie in single goose biot.
3. bring thread back to hook eye and tie in partridge hackle at stem.
4. palmer hackle once or so that it goes all the way around hook.
5. tie off excess and clip
6. whip finish and add head cement
and your done
how to fish: good fished under an indicator or as a dropper
