The hackle is made by tying individual strands to a thread creating a rubber hackle - tie like a normal bugger - no quarantee of the success on this fly

I tied something similar to that. Black Tail, Purple body and a bunch of rubber legs like yours using pearl stretch cord, the only difference was I added a brass cone head on mine. I fished it on the Ami this morning and caught a 18-19' rainbow on it near the steel bridge. So I can vouch for the concept working real well.

I will be posting pics of fly and boo in a Ami report.
