Hare's Lug Plover

[Buck Henry]

My Golden Plover skin arrived yesterday and I just had to tie up another classic soft hackle pattern with it. This one is called the Hare's Lug Plover:

Hook: Daiichi 1550 or similar Wet Fly Hook (size 16)
Body: Pearsalls Silk thread - Primrose Yellow
Body / Thorax: Natural Hare's Ear
Hackle: Golden Plover

Man that's a fine looking pelt and from the looks of that fly you know just what to do with it.Something special about using classic patterns and materials.Thanks for sharing.
