Hook: Any #16-22 standard or 1xl nymph or dry fly. Shown is Mustad 7957B #18
Thread: Black UTC 70 or smaller
Tail: Pheasant Tail fibers
Abdomen: Wrapped Pheasant Tail fibers over head cement or flexament base.
Wingcase: Pheasant Tail fibers
Thorax: Spirit River Mottled nymph blend (Black Stonefly) This has some red fibers mixed in.
Legs: Pheasant Tail fibers
Note: Although this is given as black nymph, simply subsitute other colors of thread, pheasant tail, and thorax material to get different colored nymphs. i.e. Brown thread, natural pheasant tail, peacock dubbing, etc.
