2. start lead wrap around middle of shank and wrap towards eye (about 8-10 times i counted) clip off excess.
3. start thread right behind bead and head to the bend of hook secure the lead wraps alsong the way with your thread.
4. tie in 2 black goose biots for a "spliced tail"
5. dub the thread with the hares ear dubbin and dub it to about 2/3 of the bead.
5. do the same with the peacock nymph blend and wrap it as far as you can to the bead
6. cut off an aprropritate sized saddle hackle. your goall is to use what i call the "mid-segment" of the hackle. tie the hackle in by the tip and wrap 3 -4 times as tight as you can. tie off and clip the tip and excess
7. stroke the hackle barbs towards bend of hook and tie a few tight wraps to help secure the hackle a little farther back
8. whip finish and add head cement or similar product
