Santa was nice enough to bring me a Bucks Bag for Xmas and I just got around to rigging it up this weekend. One question though. Is the inflatable back rest, not the tube, supposed to be so hard to get in the zipper pouch. Unfortunately my bag didn't come with any instructions and I'm beginning to think I got the wrong back rest, it seems way too big for the pouch. In my infinite wisdom I inflated the tube and realized I hadn't inserted the backrest and there was no way the thing was fitting in the pouch with the tube inflated. I then deflated the tube removed it from the "bag" and tried to insert the backrest to no avail, I even let air out and jammed it in there, but couldn't zip up the pouch. The big guy said he picked it up at the Fishhawk and I'm thinking maybe they gave him the wrong back rest for my Hi & Dry II by mistake or maybe I'm just float tube challenged.

Hate to ask a stupid question, but are you installing the air pillow inflated or deflated? The zippered area that the backrest pillow fits in is huge, so I cannot imagine having trouble getting the deflated pillow in there. Once it is in there, then a few huffs and puffs and it fills up the space nicely.

Second stupid question; there are two pouches on the back rest area. The lower one if for the air pillow and the upper one is for storage. You should be putting the pillow in the lower compartment, not the upper one.

I was trying to put the backrest pillow in the larger, lower pouch. Did not try installing the pillow deflated:bang: . I guess that would be the problem. Thanks for shedding some light on this simple problem:cheers:
