After a long past week I decided to head up and fish, my grandfather was with me today in spirit. The day started with one car in the lot when I got there and the fish seemed to be quite active due to the air temps.

I started out with a small BWO(18) with a flash midge pattern(22) off the back, the first fish was taken on the dry and after that the midge was the ticket, the only photo I took was the best fish of the day

That's a great, positive way to look at it, Zach. He can fish with you on every trip.

Now that you metioned it, it does look kinda like a cuttbow. I only wish I were fished a western cutt stream!

Wait untill July I will be posting cuttslam pics!!!

It does kind of look like a Cuttie, almost no spots on the lower half... Nice fish anyways.

Zach, can you make it out on a Sunday soon?? I want to head back up to the Toccoa, I've been tying up some small midges and BWOs that need to be field tested... Let me know...

Wow, that exactly what I was thinking. Looks just like a Cutt that I landed on the Platte in WY.
