Blueline Question?

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction on what to use on some of those small streams this time of year. I am leaning towards an Adams with a Pheasant tail dropper, I have never fished my honey holes this early in the year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have been killin' em with a pheasant tail dropper but under a Y2K bug.

The Y2K never even crossed my mind since they're all natives, but I guess it would be a good attractor.
