The Saltwater Sharkskin is now available. However, the folks at 3M could not tell me if it has an all-weather or tropical core. They are "going to get back to us on that". It is available in WF 6-12 and is Light Yellow. It is also $100. Rob

I have learned that it is a braided monofilament core, which lends itself to warmer conditions. They have not specified if it is a "tropical" conditions line. It sounds like it is not for cold water situations. Rob

thank you for following up on that. I need to get some for my 9wt, and then I need to practice stopping the line between 70-90 ft ;)

I was hoping it would come out in the blue herron color (or something similar) for salt but I guess SA knows better than me.
