Got to the parking area around 8.30 ish...talked to a nice guy while we rigged up and put on waders...first time to Smith in a while so I spent the first little while scouting the stream for fish...saw a few here and there...ended up catching 1 down below the sewer pond in a real narrow run that cuts up against a deep bank...nice 14 inch bow...
Caught 3 in a slow run between the sewer pond and the main bridge...
I didnt have much time to fish so i went back up towards the dam and fished the 2nd to the last hole from the dam and caught several right there...that i had seen when i first arrived...
All fish ate a black WB...tried a handful of other things but that was the ticket today for me...
