Hit a small stream wild today. Water temp is almost getting right, temp was 45 degrees at around 2300' elevation (2 PM). Unfortunately, more cold weather is on the way. Hope we get more than a 1/2" of rain tomorrow.
Most of the streams/rivers are still high and stained. The stream I was on today was slightly stained and fairly high. Nice to see this water level and the fish seemed to be enjoying it.
Caught around 10 bows in about 1 1/2 hrs. Most were small with the exception of one nice 12" male. His colors were vivid. Sorry no photos today (forgot my camera).
