Reel'em In

Dink and I decided to start up our adventures today. Sorry to do this to you all "again". I didn't think I would be able to go fishing for several more days, but was able to get out of work and headed off with Dan.
We carpooled on up into the mtns. After walking in and crossing several mtns we make it to this stream, (key code ****), which opened up the waters for us. I think the hike in was something like 2.6 km according to the map. I wanted to blindfold Dan before getting to this place but since he was driving I just didn't feel it would be appropriate.
Day was overcast/foggy and it either rained or misted on us the entire day. Water temp was 51 degrees and either slightly stained to almost clear.
Pic of stream once we arrived. You can not see a fish in the photo but it was in mid-stream, first cast and I hook up with a brown. Nice way to start the day. Unfortunately, I unhooked the brown before taking a pic and it wiggled to get away.

These falls were pretty buggerish to get up. Next time we are taking ropes!

Here is Dan with his first spec of the day.

Dan working a run. Both of our 6' rods worked great on this small bushy stream.

We caught bucket fulls of these little fellers. Unfortunately, no monsters.

Scenery was beautiful streamside and on the side of the mtns.

Finally after fishing for these specs for about 4 hrs, we decided to drop back down into the low lands and fish for some other species. And we started catching fish like these.

And these.

Here is Dan with one of his bows.

Don't know why Dan doesn't like browns or maybe the browns don't like him. But, finally at the end of the day with sore legs, sore arms, sore backs, and giving alot of fish sore lips, he lands this one (brown).

Enjoyed our rainey day out fishing. There is just something special when you get a Slam, but especially when your friends do it to. Way to go Dan!:D
Now, you said you were going to be off Monday right ::ke:
