Taking Boys Fishing

Short notice here, but I have my 10 year old and a buddy as well as my wife in the truck headed to Rock Creek in the AM with a trip through Dahlonega on the way home to Mayretta.

Any suggestions!!!

Rock creek had a line in every hole and a few fish moving. The only snit to hand was caught by the kid on his first trip. After that he caught bushes, shirts, pants and hats! I guess I will break down and let them bait fish next time. I had the boys stick to spinners and trout magnets that many fish looked at but did not take. I can count my casts for the day on one hand.

I will also have to fly in the next time---the wife did not think much of the trip across Woody's Gap!
