Unicoi Outfitters is excited to announce that we have entered into a agreement to provide guided fishing trips on a two mile private section of Mountaintown Creek just 5 minutes outside of Ellijay. This unique little stream has been in one family for several generations and has seen very little fishing pressure. It's about the size of Dukes Creek and has a variety of different fishing situations. From plunge pools, pocket water and deep runs to meandering bends through a beautiful meadow, this newest stream is a welcome addition to the Unicoi family of trophy streams.
While we always welcome our guests to our shops, if you live in northwest Atlanta or west Georgia, this is the closest trophy trout fishing you'll find. With the rising cost of driving, if you like we'll just meet you in Ellijay and save you some gas.
Rates for fishing Mountaintown Creek will be the same as all the other Unicoi properties: the lowest of any private venue trophy streams in Georgia. If you would like to be one of the first anglers to try their hand at tackling a 20" plus fish in a small stream setting, please call our shop in Blue Ridge at 706-632-1880.
