Registration

I want to register my Pontoon to be able to use an electric motor for lake use. I live in Kennesaw, do any of you know where to do this without going into Atlanta? can't do it on line because it won't accept the vin number. Thanks.

You've probably already seen this but you can obtain boat registration applications from any Wildlife Resources Division office or from most boat dealers, hardware stores, sporting goods stores or marinas or call the Boat Registration Office at (800) 366-2661. Ether way you'll have to wait about 5 or 6 months for them to send it to you.

yes I have seen this, but i'm thinking these places aren't going to know much about Pontoon boats, but we'll see. thanks for the phone number, i didn't havr that.

Doesn't so much matter what type of vessel it is, if you put a motor of any kind on it they want to charge you for it:bang: :money: :bang: :pissed: and you still have to wait 6 months for it to get here:huh:

This is true, they will simply mail it to you once you fill out the form.
