Rob;

Quick question...I've recently moved back to Atlanta from Bham and read an article in which you discussed the shoal bass fishing in that stretch. I can't seem to get a date on the article, so I wondered if it is worth possible to ask you if the bass fishing on that stretch was still viable. Not asking for any secrets, just whether or not you felt there were bass in that area.

Any feedback would be great.

Thanks.

YES They are there. I've been told that you need to check it out near the bridge. ;)

I wore them out all around the bridge a couple weeks ago. To get to certain spots under the bridge you will need a float tube of some sort. I have filled my waders on two occasions under there trying to get just a little closer to the fish. Also be prepared, you might get some other rumored fish on your line while fishing that area. A really big one with a white belly and stripes down its side.:yikes:

Thanks for the info guys. Quick question...I've fished around Buford Dam, and know about the water release issues. Any thing like that you need to worry about at Cochran? I've got a tube and will take that with me.

Thanks.

No real water flow issues as it is a good ways below Morgan Falls. The only issue I have had out there is the hat floaters. You will be moving along and all of a sudden hit a hole and fill up the waders. I don't usually go out there anymore w/o a tube.
