View Full Version : Yak seat back
Can someone recommend a seat back for a tarpon 12' sot. It has a plastic fold up back but it is uncomfortable. I have a cushion for the molded bottom but I need something that will make the back more user friendly.

I have a Tarpon 160i.

Look through the seat back options and you'll find a $15 slip on cover especially made for the Tarpon. There is also a universal strap-on cover that has more padding and a storage pouch for $40.
I've got the strap-on version coming in today. If you can wait I'll let you know how it works.

I received the seat pad and back today. Hot Seat Grande is a little large for Tarpon but I think if it "sticks" it will be better than an air/foam cushion sliding around. The new tarpons have rivets holding the cushion on, but I'm not crazy about poking any more holes in my yak.
Strap On seat back doesn't fit well. Too many buckles, straps, and loops for bungees to pass through. Zipper top of storage bag is too small and awkward to get stuff in/out of. I'll be sending that back and getting the $15 seat pad made specifically for the Tarpon.
