Prop guard questions

I recently purchased a south fork skiff and a 5hp Honda kicker and i was wondering what types of prop guards some of you guys have used that spend a lot of time on the water.

I know that clacka has a pretty elaborate one on their website and cabelas has a few, just wanted some advice or opinions from anyone who has any experience with these.

i use a skeg guard on my 25hp. my props start lasting longer..but you lose a little thrust with any guard.

you should not have much to worry about though with a 5hp on a skiff. as long as you dont back into or hit a big rock,stump.... as long as you are careful should be no problems... and in that case, your problems could be alot bigger than just a busted prop.
