Looking for a 10' pond hopper. Does anyone know someone who is looking to sell?

if you do end up getting one at a great deal on craigslist.com i think you should take me out with you at least once...you know kind of a finders fee.

just kidding...but not really!

Chirotrout-

I am looking on Craigslist but have had no luck.:bang: I have a Creek company 915 and I tried it in a 400 ac lake last weekend that is beside my golf course. It didn't work very well in that lake. I was sitting to low and I guess since they are made to manuover easy in the river, it was hard to keep it straight.

I will post if I find one, and you are welcome to fish anytime. I am newly back into fishing and most of my buddies are golfers.

Might be a little more upscale than you were looking for, but this looks like a sweet deal on a 13' Riverhawk.

And not too far away, either.

There's a pretty steady supply of pond hoppers that show up, just keep watching.

Arborfly, When you put your toon in the lake, Where you using fins? If not, I would give that a try before giving up on it for still water. I love using my toons in still water and using fins makes all the difference.

Baldea-- Thanks for the post but this one is already sold.

ESL--- This is alittle bigger than I need, but thanks anyway.

B983-- I did not use the fins because I thought the trolling motor would be good enough. Do you wear them in the river? If so , are they hard to wade in if you get out of the toon?

Arborfly, The nice thing about fins is you can adjust your toon while still fishing. I would just use the trolling motor for covering large sections of water.
I NEVER wade in my fins, They would have the makings of a great video for the rest of you ;)
If I was a floating a section of river that is REALLLY SLOW I would bring my fins for that section of water, But as a rule I never wear fins in moving water.
The 915 is a nice toon, I have its big and little brothers, The 1018 and 816.
