I guess I'll post a few pictures from our trip while Lab works on the main HD Video report. I feel kinda stupid posting pictures now that he has a HD video camera:rolleyes::rolleyes:

We had a good trip, nice weather everyday, however it was a little chilly Friday morning, I'd guess mid 30's. Water temps in the low 50's. Glad we decided to bring the waders. Sorry for the length, but here's 4 days worth of pictures....

Here's a few pictures of the trail, about a 4-5 mile hike.

There were a lot of old ruins along this creek that were pretty interesting to look around and explore. I wish I had known a little more about the history of the area before we went. I did a little research when we got back and there was a fairly large community in the area, centered around some type of mill. I haven't found out what type of mill yet, but still looking around on the net for that. There were enough people to support a small school.

Here's some pictures of the ruins.

Not sure what this is, but we found it about 1/2 mile down stream from the main mill.

From what I've read and looking at maps of the area, I believe this is the foundation to an old Ranger Station.

Enough with the old ruins, here's some fish and stream pics.

Here's a few of Lab and Chuckwalla's fish
They both managed to land some of the larger fish of the trip. They both had a few in the 10" range, all mine were less than 8".

This is the little feeder stream that ran by our camp. I fished it a little one afternoon while Lab and Chuckwalla ate lunch and rested. I did manage 1 little 5" bow, but no picture of the fish.

It was a great trip, with two good guys! Thanks to UB for posting the pix. I got the bonehead and forgot my camera. Also, I got a preview of Lab's latest video masterpiece. It looked awesome!

Looking forward to another trip and another big brown

chuck you mean this?

That's the preview...or do you mean the full one that I snuck to you and Ken. I made a few changes since the version I sent to you, but I am pretty much finished. The saving is horrible, but I got a workable draft now. Just a few more things and it will be totally ready.

I didn't have time to enjoy the photos & video until today, when I'm trapped in a dark cube farm.

UB - The pix & story are super. I love the mix of friends, fish & history.

Lab - The full-length video is going to be well worth the wait!

Just a fabulous trip & report.

I've seen a sneak preview of the full length version, it's pretty darn impressive.... Lab definitely has a knack for this stuff...

Of course I take most of the credit, I am the associate producer..;)
