I was last in this part of North Carolina back in August and the water was low, low, low.
A PM from a member directed me to another small stream nearby, but the blueberry picking crowds in the parking lot scared me off. I'm back up that way this Friday and wanted to know if anybody has a report on water levels on this DH stream? And unfortunately the NCWRC no longer offers, for free, a map to show you exactly where you need to fish in order to be legal. The Inland Fishing Regulations states Queen Creek to the first game land boundary upstream of Lake Logan. I know the lake, but have no idea where the game land boundary is. I won't have time to try the Nant or the Tuck, eventhough they are close by, so the West Fork of the Pigeon and the East Fork of the Little Pigeon River above the Boy Scout Camp are it for this time around. Any info on conditions and boundaries would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
~lloyd

upstream is hatchery supported which means you will still be within the regs to fish there this time of year

You shouldn't let the blueberry picking crowds scare you off. They ain't fishing and they're probably gone now anyway. Loads of brookies in that stream!

Well, I wasn't really scared. There just wasn't any parking whatsover. The Ranger was there trying to sort it all out. A total cluster it was.

That's too bad. I've seen it like that too and in fact, the last time we went, about a month ago when the BB's were plentiful, we had to park on the grass. Still, no other fisher people, so we had it too ourselves, so to speak.

Maybe next time...
