Speckled Sea Trout that is.

Realized it's been a long time since I made a speck report so thought I would post some pictures of one I caught last night fishing from my new home waters on the Chesapeake Bay.

Not a huge fish by Chesapeake Bay standards but it's getting served for dinner tonight after it bit two holes in the crotch of my waders last night while I was trying to get the hook out of its mouth :yikes:.

I'm off to Harkers Island for False Albie's this week. Hopefully I can make a successful report next week when I get back.

Cheers,

Chris B.

That's good eating right there. Not a bad speck at all. Good luck with the little tunnies, I'd love to hook one of those on the fly.

MMMM. Delicious eating. The first sea trout I ever caught I was going to reach down and lip him until I saw the teeth on him. I honestly didn't expect teeth like that.I guess the boys are o.k. You are very lucky those teeth didn't get hold of you. That would've been ugly and very hard to explain at the emergency room.

Just be glad you had some waders for protection....Nice fish, dude. Looking forward to that albie report. Just leave some stripers for December.
