Can anyone tell me where I can get some Y2K's? Or do I have to learn to make them myself?
BPS is always out.

if you have a vice, then learn to tie them they are easy and you will get a lot more for your money than buying them one at a time.
Just my opinion

Good advise from Nu2, but if you do not tie, send me your address in a PM and I will mail you a few.

Y2Ks are carried by most if not all fly shops. But they really are the easiest fly to make so learning how to tie them is well worth the small effort and investment (although I'm not sure that you'd want to buy the tying gear for just Y2Ks.)
If headed to Helen or the Toccoa try Unicoi Outfitters (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.unicoioutfitters.com%2F&ei=cXCdSc2BJZmatwfUnaXrBA&usg=AFQjCNE9rb2voxFpJSXDBOMUirAvcPmA_Q&sig2=Bd5b3ez0qkkseEUKZR7ZDw) in Helen and Blue Ridge, respectively. Also try Wilder Outdoors (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wilderoutdoors.com%2F&ei=h3CdSaTEMIOftwfL6JTpBA&usg=AFQjCNGFiyrVdnHA3-0jfVv06iMt4XjBlQ&sig2=_eSkvzR8eCkIXy9rjz7hWw) north of Gainesville, or Fly Box Outfitters (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.flyboxoutfitters.com%2F&ei=SXCdSYP3OZ7cyAXywtGQCg&usg=AFQjCNFvARwzdi7GhZHULX7CPpPqQBSc-Q&sig2=M9NJyx-YkB5bozY20zKdeA) in Marietta and The Fish Hawk (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thefishhawk.com%2F&ei=unCdSfiaEYfgyQW8z8WQCg&usg=AFQjCNHM-xZsWxqGqBKUzLtrAZ2dJsvTUA&sig2=0V3M2KQDucqk6ezaOjBszQ) in Atlanta.

You could get the materials to tie Y2Ks for less than $10, but you would also need about $30 worth the tying tools to. It would be a great excuse to learn to tie flies.

I bought some a few weeks ago at Unicoi Outfitters in Helen. As a bonus, they threw in detailed instructions on where to use them on Smith Creek.
They had a great selection back in January.

I wonder how long it will be until some whipper-snapper asks "what is a Y2K and why do they call these flies that name?"
