Leaving at 3pm...hopefully will be on the Wando in the a.m. with my 8wt. Stopping by the Charleston Angler around lunch to pic up some items, then eat lunch with my sis. Head back to the dock, and hit the water again. Hope the bite will be on.

Would love to see some pictures of the Wando. My grandparents owned an old plantation on the upper Wando. Needless to say I spent many a summer day as a child on the Wando looking for spot tails, flounder, and specs. Hope you have a grand time.

Stopped in at the Charleston angler in Mt. Pleasant and got a quick report. I hit the water by 9am and was quickly into some fish. I caught several small sea trout, then one decent red. I picked up and left to head over to Palmetto Islands County Park. I got on the water and found lots of activity. I tied on a blue and white clouser and began to work the marsh edges. Trout then trout then this nice red. I continued fishing and managed a few other reds but none as big. Sunday I headed to Isle of Palms and surf fished the beach. I tied into a large AJ with a chart and white clouser but she came unbuttoned well into the fight.
