Hello everyone!!!!
This is our FIRST news letter...EVER!! We hope you will read it and enjoy it; we will do our best not to bore you, at the same time hopefully remind you of our beautiful surroundings and what a great vacation spot we have here in the NE Georgia Mountains. Most importantly, we will inform you of any specials that we are offering.
Do you speak Fly fish? Join us. Once a week Robert finds a cool stream, throws in a line and catches Georgia's/North Carolina's finest trout. Or sometimes we just hike streams and take pictures. Be part of it. For more information email or call 706-878-5512.
January 2010...
Three frozen pipes, two slip and falls and one lonely couple at Creekwood. (No worries the slip and falls were our two very old yellow labs and they are fine). If you don’t already know; we are Robert and Melissa and we have 17 RV sites and now 4 Cabins, our new cabin (4 the Birds) is in the Campground for those who want to camp in comfort, but do not have a camper. This is a slow time of year and we wanted to get the word out to everyone who may have tried to book with us in the past. Perhaps we were sold-out or maybe our price was not exactly what you were looking. So, whether you are staying in our campground or staying in one of our cabins, stay two nights and get the third one free. This is for any new reservation between now and March 15, 2010 (excluding Valentines weekend in the Cabins), (stay must be completed by March 15, 2010).
Also, new for 2010 in the RV Park, we have lowered the rate in sites 1, 2, 3, & 4 to $25.00 plus tax for up to 4 people. (Non Season). We hope these lower rates and additional cabin will make you want to pack your bags.
Now, with your help, the start of an ongoing story that will be added to each month. Here is how it works. We give you the first paragraph and you decide the second paragraph. Take it wherever you care. Each month you will help it grow. Your creative ideas of how the story should continue will be welcomed and rewarded. All you have to do is email us one paragraph, and watch to see if your story addition gets published in our next News Letter.
So here we go...
One cold wintry day a group of us decided to go up to Mr. Mountain and do some target shooting. The ground crunched under our feet and the air was bitingly cold. It was a different kind of Georgia day and there was an ominous glow as the sun rose over the ridge. The day held promise as we hiked into the back woods when suddenly…to be continued (by you).
