Thanks BucK & all... we aren't the most photogenic group, but...
I just realized this is the first time we've put "people faces" to Fern Valley!
Our mixed-breed, rescued family members are a lot more photogenic than Marty and me. As for our crazy cat who lives on the roof -- she is embarrassed to be seen with our motley crew. Look very carefully to the left of the chimney.

Yep, that cat stays on the roof so much, that Marty had to put his little igloo bed up there for him to sleep in!

BTW, I got to fish Fern Valley today and all I can say is wow! The rain put just enough stain in the water to make the conditions perfect and I lost count of how many fish I caught today. Big fish of the day was a solid 20 inch Bow and I had one bigger than that break off after about a 5 minute battle.

PS: Fern Valley fishing tip o' the day: don't just concentrate on the deeper pools as many fish have moved up into the shallow riffle areas now that the weather has cooled off. I caught that 20 inch Rainbow in a very shallow run of water.
