Another stalker career cut short. From the story told here if there was ever anyone who deserved shooting this guy did. The girls husband died of cancer less than a month earlier.

I heard that story on the news last night. Completely agree with your assessment of the situation.

Hopefully this story will reach other lowlifes and they'll think twice.

The cops are saying it's legal self defense and that's goodness. But she's giving a lot of interviews (CNN, MSNBC, ABC) and demonstrating how she took aim, etc. That might hurt her in the civil trial that's sure to come. I wish her well and I am amazed how calm she was on the phone with the 911 dispatcher!

There ain't a jury in Oklahoma that will find this girl guilty of anything! And I loved the 911 operator's response to here can I shoot question; "do what you have to do to protect your baby".

Oh I agree, unless something comes out that mars her case, she probably would win the civil trial. But that doesn't mean she won't have to pay for one.

That said, the Oklahoma castle doctrine code says:
F. A person who uses force, as permitted pursuant to the provisions of subsections B and D of this section, is justified in using such force and is immune from criminal prosecution and civil action for the use of such force. As used in this subsection, the term "criminal prosecution" includes charging or prosecuting the defendant.

So hopefully she is done with this.

I heard on Boortz this morning some of the local media outlets were trying to help her our financially. That girls is lawsuit proof, she doesn't have anything to get. Her husband died of cancer a month ago, living in a mobile home with a 3 month old baby.

But you right about the jury. Oklahoma is arguably the most conservative state in the union, every country vote Republican in the last presidential election. I may qualify as an Okie, I was probably conceived while my dad was stationed at Ft. Sill during WWII.

Been talking about this around the office for a couple days. She did exactly what she needed to do.

She did exactly what she was supposed to do! Just imagine what could of happened if she wasn't armed:yikes:

I guess the German shepherd you see in the video was not on site at the time...I've had shepherds for the last 18 years and there is no way any of my dogs would sit quiet while someone was trying to break in...

The bark is a warning that bad things are to come once you enter unwelcome!

Did the "stalker" and the shooter know each other?
