Betty and I had planned on spending New Years Eve weekend at Creekwood but had to cancel when family came in town. So we took advantage of the first long weekend this weekend to camp at Creekwood. Lots of folks don't like winter camping - Betty and I do. Smaller crowds and lots of time for naps and short walks with the dogs Bailey and Parker.
This weekend was great. Melissa and Robert have an excellent resort,, complete with RV sites with all the amenities and also cabins for those not fortunate enough to own an RV ;). We had a great time! Even got to play with some of Jimmy Harris' piggies at Nachochee Bend.
With Creekwood just up the road from Unicoi State Park and Helen, GA, it is a great place for a relaxing time. Check them out!
