Secondly Team Dead Drift is proud to announce its partnership with the Federation of Fly Fishers! We have been working hard on relationships with mainstream fly fishing organizations in an effort to promote competitive fly fishing through education and participation. Through this partnership Team Dead Drift has attained non-profit 501c3 status. This new partnership is a definitive way to move forward on those very concepts. We look forward to working with the Federation of Fly Fishers, and appreciate their support and commitment!

At first I was thinking the "Big News" was going to be that PBR, Hooters or Tilted Kilt was going to be a new sponsor.

I was really let down at first. :cry: Since comp fishing is all about booze and women anyway.






But obtaining Blue Ridge Fly Fishing, 501c3 status and somehow pulling Aaron onto the team is actually BIGGER NEWS!!! A hearty congratulations is in order. I'm sure countless numbers of hard work went into pulling this together.




Now if I see Oyster marketing Euro Nymphing cane I don't know what I'll do!!! :yikes:

Aaron and DD have a shared objective and decided to unite on that front. Good things to come! Everyone has had some bad experiences in one way or another throughout life. Sometimes opportunities arrive and a better side of a bad experience can be seen. Perhaps TroutSlayer can take advantage of this as well.
