I was really pleased with the turnout of the attendees and the mentors! I had a great time running the class and hoped that those attending learned a few things that will help them improve their catch rates. I also want to thank all the mentors again for their attendance as well. Without yall's assistance, this event wouldn't have been possible. Again, I hope a good time was had by all, but I'd also like to ask all DFD "graduates" to pass it on in the future.
Thanks
Landon

Thank you for running the class Landon. It was really good and I greatly enjoyed the chance to learn from scott from Team Dead drift. Keep up the good work.

. . . but I'd also like to ask all DFD "graduates" to pass it on in the future. . .
Brother, when you say pass it on in the future, you don't mean nuthin' 'cept for the near future! Your were a fine "brave" last year as a mentor, and you were a great "chief" this year. Well done, and thanks for heading it up. You done ran a fahn event, sir! I am proud to have been one of your "braves" for this year's event.

Landon and all the great mentors we had this year - Thank you very much for your contribution to this community.
Truly appreciated the event and mentors willingness to lend a hand, teach something new, confirm some findings, and even lend a personal fly rod (Landon) for some honing of the newly aquired "skillz":D
Thanks again,
Mike

Well done Landon on taking the lead. We really appreciate your organization on this event.
Thanks guys for a great DFD seminar. I've been fly fishing for about five years now and have pretty much thought long casting was the way to not spook fish. DFD opens a whole new world of fly fishing for me.:) You might note that I have not done a lot of small stream fishing.
I need to give a special thanks to Mark (Musselwhite) and Jeff Durniak for helping a dummy who put all his fly fishing gear except his wading boots in his truck (senior moment I guess).:bang: Mark was real helpful in explaining casting techniques and how to fish the Hooch tailwaters. Thanks to Jeff for setting up my rig which enabled me to listen to the DFD instructors.
Those tailwaters are real cold when you wade them in your bare feet!

Glad to be a part of another DFD seminar. Johnsi, it was nice to meet you - let me know when you want to fish the Hootch.
