I finally got my wife out to Fern on Sunday. We have tow small girls under three so we don't get much time to fish togther anymore. So this was a specail day. Took her up to Cohutta and dialed her in with new waders and boots...(thanks Brandon she was snug and comfy).
The water was stained and a bit high but we had a ball. Second drift my wife hooks into a 20 inch bow....keep in mind she has only really caught small stockers....she let out a yelp like a true trout nut and proceeded to catch and land 7 more fish. She never got snagged...hooked in a tree...nothing. She was flawless all day...so proud!
She know understands how special Fern is.
