2.25.2009 - The State Of The Nation

A quote from last night:

Another Obama quote:

"Only government can break the vicious cycles that are crippling our economy -- where a lack of spending leads to lost jobs which leads to even less spending"

I thought it would be fun to post contradictory statements made by our new president. Just the facts...

How about this idea for stimulating the economy; let the hardworking and productive workers and businesses keep the money they have earned. Each employee and business would then have more to spend, invest, and donate to effective private organizations.

Personally, I would rather donate my hard earned money to a church, charity, or local service organization that is geared towards helping those in need.
