after a rough day at work(rough week)i finally got to wet line down at my in-laws before dinner...i took my little 5' 3wt with me..i had a biot bodied hackle fly and BHmarch brown nymph as a dropper...sure enough i tried around the dock and landed this nice little bream on the dropper...

... i landed a bunch of small would have been perfect for using as bait...then i hooked into one when the dry disappeared...and i was thinking that it would be another nice bream and here is what i pulled...

...first double on a fly rod i must say...after some more small ones i tied on a B4 Bug(thanks again steve hudson for the bodies)...and i headed back to where ive had good luck with it...and sure enough i had a nice looked like it got sucked down to depths by a monster...and i pulled this nice spotted bass after a great fight...

if you get the chance i highly recommend one of the combos for blue lining and as a grab and go rod... ... its been awesome and hooking into that bass was awesome...he dang near tore my hand when he took off...once i got him back in the water i thought that it would be the fish of the day...but sure enough i tossed my fly out farther on the point and disappeared...and after an even more acrobatic fight i landed this nice guy...

now thats my kind of way to relax...maybe i need some harder days at work...hmm maybe not but ill definitly take more days like that...
