Does anyone know why Raccoon creek in paulding county hasn't been getting its regular stockings this year? I've been looking at every weekly report and raccoon creek has only been stocked once this season where as on the yearly report its set to receive twice a month stockings. Went down there after work yesterday to maybe see whats going on but I couldn't come to any conclusion. Is it too hot already for Stockings, or is it another factor?

While we wait for expert info..............

My guess is heavy rain and warm water temps.

From the desk of Dredger (Jeff Durniak, DNR WRD):

DNR trout stocking coordinator John Lee Thomson is mentioned in nearly every weekly report.

He can be reached at 706-947-1508. Leave a VM if he doesn’t answer, as he’s out tending Burton hatchery fish or stocking trout quite a bit.

Folks can learn a lot from the WRD weekly fishing blog..,,
