Spent a few hours on Raven Fork this morning. No big ones but still a good trip. First hour brought 5 or 6 stockers in the 10-14 range. 2d hour with the sun a little higher was a sucker and shiner parade and no trout. Stream born trout decided to eat the last hour and I ended up with 5 or 6 of them. It was only my 2d time there and while the size of the fish I caught were much smaller than last trip, the wild ones made for an enjoyable morning.

I hate you didn't get on some of the toads they have there. But wild fish are so much fun and great colors. Did you see any elk or hear them bugling?

I didn't see or hear any elk this time. A chance of seeing them in the river is a major reason why I choose to go there yesterday. I'll head back up to there or the park later this fall for another chance.
