  • Tuckasagee River float and shuttle

If water conditions permit I plan to float the Tuck in a drift boat this weekend (any advice appreciated).

Has anyone used Uber or similar services to shuttle in Dillsboro?

    thnx

Mike the Duke Power site gives you river flows. Right now Duke is lowering one lake 10 ft and is 8 feet from that goal. In flows to lakes are high thus 24 hr releases on the other lakes that feed the Tuck.

Jimbo, thanks. I think the flows this weekend will be good for floating and bad for wading; don't want to float thru water folks are trying to wade on that river. Still trying to sort out the shuttle thing.

I've always had to run my own shuttle with buds.

Tuck fly shop has an old man that will run you back to your truck for around $20.00

Thanks. The fly shop in Dillsboro did refer me to a shuttle person.
