  • JB, Finally.

Went out to my favorite park after a short hiatus to try out my new getup. Met up with and old friend I hadn't seen in a long time who helped contribute to the B-day fish fry coming up in a few days with some of the chunkier ones. We just missed the truck but got on the fish. All the stockies had a nice little brown hue to them, probably from the same batch of eggs. I was really surprised by how similar they all looked. If you get out, they'll be down a ways after the high wattage generation. Get at em.

Can't wait to fry up these bad boys!:

Unless he met up with an old friend who he hadn't seen in a long time that contributed to the B- day fish fry coming up.

Checked my mail but saw no invitation. Looks like a great day on the water GU.

Good thing I didn't take a picture of both sinks.

That must have been 4 Publix bags of fish!

Any idea how many stockers fit in a Publix bag?

Ha. The man continuously uploads pictures of Vladimir Putin as his avatar. Obviously poking wound-too-tights is part of his MO. Although he mentions the "How", hopefully DNR has better things to do than question why a fellow has 10 trout in a sink.

We caught a lot more fish than 10, I think keeping 5 a piece is fair. I saw some dead fish that day probably from being mishandled by people who think they are catch and releasing but doing it improperly. I feel pretty confident that the ones we did let go survived.

Yea. Having just started trout fishing I learned very quickly that trout are fragile...more fragile than any other fish ive caught I think.
