Getting the itch to go up north but I have never been up during the cold months. Im wondering what techniques and flies work best on small streams during the winter. I'v only every thrown dries during the summer so not sure how to approach this.

I like to dry-drop in small streams when fish aren't rising. My favorites are midges and hare's ear type nymphs under a dry. I found that late afternoons work best for colder months.
Hi my name is Charles and I'm a fishaholic.

Some days I'm the hook and some days I'm the fish.
