  • Weekend in the mountains

Visited my parents in North Georgia over the weekend. Took my oldest and mans best friend on a hike with some fishing thrown in. Or as my daughter might say took them fishing with some hiking thrown in? The scenery was great and the streams were flowing extremely well, and it’s August!

For trips like this I like taking my first rod build, a 7’6” 3 wt paired up with my first reel build.

Awesome. That creek is one of my favorite places to fish in N GA.

Not far from my parents place so I know the area pretty well. Lots of good hunting too.
