  • Bass(and others) on the Fly '17

I haven't posted here in forever, so I thought I would share some of my catches this year. I have really gotten into chasing river bass on the fly rod and my gear has been collecting dust Most of my fishing is for spotted bass and redeye along with the odd largemouth and shoal bass. Some of these fish come stripping streamers or drifting craws, but the majority have come on topwater flies. Please don't mind the odd gill or carp that made it into the thread. Now that I saw the easy way to use Facebook photos on here I will try to post a little more often.

                  Beautiful fish!!! Thanks for posting.

Do you make your own poppers? And the kayak, what kind is it? I'm looking to get either a canoe or a kayak for stream/pond fishing.

The poppers are booglebugs, although I have started using the double barrel flymen popper bodies to tie my own with a stronge hook. The yak is a Jackson kilroy. It's a hybrid sit in design. Really like it for fly fishing.
